Mental Health in Motion

Move. Connect. Recharge.

This May, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, put your mental health in motion with guts.

What is Mental Health in Motion?

At guts, we believe that mental health isn’t just something we think about, it’s something we practice. Mental Health in Motion is our Mental Health Awareness Month fundraising campaign, designed to bring that idea to life.

This campaign is rooted in a simple idea: movement supports mental well-being. Research shows that moving your body can reduce stress, improve mental health, and build emotional resilience. But for us, “in motion” also means something more: it’s about getting unstuck, building momentum, and taking small, meaningful steps toward a more connected and fulfilling life.

Through this campaign, we’re inviting our community to move - physically and emotionally - while also supporting access to practical, science-backed mental health tools.

Why it Matters

Movement is one of the most accessible, evidence-based ways to support mental health, but it’s not just about exercise. It’s about creating momentum, building connection, and taking small steps toward feeling better.

At guts, we focus on making practical mental health tools accessible to everyone. This Mental Health Awareness Month campaign brings that mission to life; helping people move their bodies, connect with others, and build habits that support long-term well-being.

Participation is free, and donations are encouraged. Every mile moved helps fund workshops, tools, and community events that expand access to mental health support.
